Martial Arts for Education
For over 25 years, Martial Arts for Education (MAFED) has been teaching children, teenagers and adults the Japanese martial art of Budo Taijitsu, along with the self-defense skills of the Ninja and Samurai. Led by Sensei Robert, we are a non-profit organization which focuses on teaching children self-esteem, focus and concentration, self-discipline, cooperation, physical fitness and leadership skills. We currently offer outdoor classes at the Dojo (indoor classes at Sandia Vista and Enchanted Hills Elementary have been paused). While we are based in Rio Rancho, we welcome students of all ages from across the greater Albuquerque Area. Stop by and try a class for free!
We are currently offering outdoor classes for kids of all ages. Beginning level classes are offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 5:00PM and on Saturdays at 10:00AM.
